Remembering Doug Oppenheimer, Co-founder of DSA Labs
January 31st, 2025 - With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Doug Oppenheimer, our beloved co-founder and visionary behind StatLink, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Doug’s journey with us began on a soccer field and blossomed into a lifetime of friendship and innovation. His passion for developing athletes not just on the field but as individuals in life was the cornerstone upon which DSA Labs was built.
As a teacher, coach, and leader, Doug dedicated his life to empowering young athletes. His legacy is evident in every aspect of our company and the countless lives he touched with his generosity and deep care for others.
Doug's foresight and dedication have left an indelible mark on the sports community. His work at DSA Labs transcends his time with us and will continue to influence and inspire.
As we remember Doug, we commit to advancing his dream of nurturing talent and fostering personal growth within and beyond the athletic field.
Doug is survived by his father, Staunton, and brother, Jeff.

RECAP: Transfer Portal Showcase
January 2025 - On December 7th and 8th, 2024, Off the Ball Pathways hosted the OTB Transfer Portal Showcase in Indo, California, powered by StatLink.
The showcase attracted 60 elite collegiate soccer athletes and over 100 college coaches seeking top talent from programs across the country, leveraging StatLink’s cutting edge sports analytics software for athlete profiling, coaching evaluation and performance analytics directly from the field. The athletic showcase redefined pathways for collegiate soccer success, setting a new standard for recruitment events that has already driven 11 successful signings in 3 weeks.
Due to its success and recent demand, we have announced the next showcases to be held in Charlotte, North Carolina in May 2025.

OTB NCAA Transfer Portal Showacase
November 2024 - DSA Labs is thrilled to announce our partnership with OTB and Eture Sports for the NCAA Transfer Portal Showcase—an exclusive event providing top transfer portal athletes the chance to shine in front of leading NCAA coaches.
As part of this collaboration, DSA Labs will deliver comprehensive data profiles for participants, including insights from their college season and showcase performance. These profiles will be shared with coaches attending the event and schools across the country.

NCAA DI High Impact Goalkeepers
September 18th, 2024 - In NCAA Division I soccer, several goalkeepers have distinguished themselves through a combination of high save percentages and a substantial number of saves.
Edu Rodriguez (Rhode Island) has been exceptional, making 20 saves and allowing only 1 goal, boasting a remarkable save percentage of 95.2%. His consistent performance has been pivotal for his team.
Charlie Farrar (UNC Asheville) has also made his mark with 26 saves and 3 goals against him, maintaining a solid save percentage of 89.7%. His ability to handle high-pressure situations makes him a goalkeeper to watch.
Nic Diana (Purdue Fort Wayne) follows closely with 16 saves and just 2 goals conceded, holding an 88.9% save rate, showcasing his reliability in goal.
These athletes are proving to be critical assets for their teams, balancing high save percentages with frequent shot-stopping abilities.

NCAA D1 Most Dangerous Goal Scorers
Septmeber 18th, 2024 - Update: Alec Hughes from UMass now leads the nation with an astounding 1.43 goals per game, scoring 10 goals in 7 matches. Sergio Ors Navarro from West Virginia and Jesus Barea from Missouri State are tied for second place, each with 8 goals in 6 games, averaging 1.33 goals per game.

NCAA DI Most Dangerous Goal Scorers
September 7th, 2024 - As we head into the weekend, we are highlighting three of the most prolific goal scorers in NCAA Division I soccer. Sergio Ors Navarro, a senior from West Virginia, leads the pack with an impressive 6 goals in 3 matches. Following closely is Wisconsin freshman Dean Boltz, who has notched 7 goals across 4 games. Jesus Barea, a senior from Missouri State, has also made his mark with 5 goals in 3 appearances. These athletes are demonstrating exceptional performance on the field and are certainly ones to watch this season.

Runnin' Bulldogs at Reading United
May 9th, 2024 - Reading United A.C. has confirmed the addition of four outstanding players from Gardner-Webb University to their roster. The team welcomes defender Louison Cavalier, forward Jaylen Orr, and midfielders Gael Zackrisson and Giampaolo Nardi, all set to enhance Coach Casey Moore’s squad for the 2024 USL League 2 season. Doug takes on Dallas
April 2nd-9th, 2023 - StatLink heads to Dallas Cup to measure the eventual U16 Champs - the 2007 ODP National Select team. DSA Director of Coach and Player Development, Doug Oppenheimer, measured the players in each of their matches and shared the data with the team of coaches (Aaron Heffernon, Marek Radziszewski, and Craig Jones) at halftime and after each match.
